Ferron Vialone Nano Rice is cultivated in the fertile plains of Isola della Scala, near Verona, an area renowned for its rice cultivation. This rice variety is a cross between Vialone and Nano rice, developed in 1937, and has since become one of Italy's most esteemed risotto rices.

The grains are short, round, and semi-long, with a high starch content that allows them to absorb a significant amount of liquid while maintaining their shape. This makes Vialone Nano perfect for creating creamy risottos without becoming mushy. Its subtle flavor profile complements a wide range of ingredients, from vegetables and seafood to meats and cheeses.
