Primitivo di Manduria “Empirio” is a wine that embodies the strength and character of Puglia’s Salento region, where ancient vines thrive under intense sun, sea breezes, and mineral-rich soils. This wine is made from carefully selected Primitivo grapes, harvested at peak ripeness to ensure deep concentration and natural richness.

In the glass, Empirio presents a deep garnet-red color with purplish highlights. The nose is generous and enveloping, offering aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, dried fig, and sweet notes of vanilla, tobacco, and warm spices from oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, lingering finish that reveals layers of dark fruit, cocoa, and balsamic notes.

Empirio is a wine made for those who appreciate structure and depth, making it an ideal pairing for roasted meats, aged cheeses, rich pasta dishes, and slow-cooked stews. It also shines on its own as a contemplative wine, perfect for slow sipping and special occasions.
