In Sardinia, our go to celebration bubbly is the one and only Akenta. Vermentino has risen as the island's top white-wine grape.

Carefully hand-picked and following the Charmat principles this award-winning DOC extra dry sparkling wine possesses a brilliant clear yellow colour with enchanting green hues.

Sardinian exta dry sparkling wine - Akenta 75cl

Winning a bronze medal in the Global Sparkling Master of 2017 this wine is certainly ready to show off with a bouquet of intense fruit yet reminiscent of fresh yellow and white flowers with a hinting suggestion of crusty bread.

This full-bodied spumante expresses a soft and pleasant flavour as it is refined for six months, using the Mesi Sur Lie methods in which the yeast enhances the fragrant aroma and forms a fine and constant Perlage.

This wine is ideal for celebrations or as an aperitif and with the whole meal of fish, shellfish and seafood dishes. We recommend serving this special wine at 6 ºC - 7ºC.
