Isola Buona launch "The Blue Zone Route" bus tour

We are excited to launch “Good Island - The Blue Zone Route” on October, 25th in Brighton.

A tasting bus tour to discover the flavors of the one and only Italian Blue Zone… Sardinia! A delightful experience to enjoy food delicacies and fine wines from happy and healthy lands where the farmers respect the nature and the ancient local traditions. 


The food & wine tasting will include:

  1. Rice crackers with vegetable paté, combined with Vermentino Brut “Akènta”.
  2. Pane Guttiau (thin crispy bread from Sardinia) accompanied with 3 types of vegetables in oil and paired with “Renabianca” - Vermentino di Gallura DOCG.
  3. Pane Guttiau (crispy Sardinian bread) with "Monte Lughente" (young Pecorino cheese) and "Sercoro" (slightly smoked Pecorino cheese), accompanied with pear and black pepper preserve, pork loin, wild boar and pork sausage, lamb prosciutto and all perfectly paired with IGT Isola dei Nuraghi "Tajanu" red wine.
  4. Sardinian spianatina bread with matured Ricotta paired with Quince jam and smoked Ricotta paired Orange and Chilli jam. To be accompanied by “Vigne Deriu” Sardinian Cannonau red wine.
  5. Traditional Sardinian mixed biscotti and torrone (nougat) combined with “Deriu" vineyard Oro Ere wine, made from overripe grapes.

    The bus tour will take off at 11am from Pool Valley Station in Brighton and it will last approximately 3 hours.

    Tickets are usually priced at £ 37.00 per person, but Isola Buona is offering them at the very special price of £ 15.00 for the launch event.
